In Italy, student mobility is a phenomenon characterized by intense flow unidirectional of matriculations directed from South to North, exacerbated by the fact that students are likely to return to their regions of origin. The mobility of university students only in the direction of exit generates a loss for the regions of origin, in terms of human capital but also for the transfer of income to the regions of entry. Territorial mobility is analyzed by comparing the region of residence of the students with the region where the course is held.
