Achillina Bo was born in Rome on December 5, 1914 and, after studying at the artistic high school of the Capital, she graduated in architecture in 1939. Immediately after graduation she moved to Milan, where together with his colleague Carlo Pagani, she collaborated with Giò Ponti in the editorial offices of "Domus" and "Stile". In August 1946 she married, in Rome, Pietro Maria Bardi and, just a month later, leave together for the Brazil.
