UNIMOBILITY

The role of universities has long been the focus of re fl ection on the processes of economic and social development.
Student mobility is an extremely positive phenomenon, for a number of reasons: it represents an independent life experience, allowing the choice of the most suitable course of study, also stimulating forms of virtuous competition in the educational offer. Italy's dramatic problem is that this mobility is one-way, from South to North. Mobility is due to a complex interaction of causes: the availability of scholarships and services; the quality of life in the cities; the possibility of moving between the city of residence and the place of study; the very different perspectives of placement on the labor market; the breadth and quality of the educational offer.
